Under the Hood
‘Under the Hood’ will be a personal, light hearted reflection on current & past projects, and not necessarily tech related.
Back in the 80’s, my Dad got a Sinclair ZX80. I was about twelve years old at the time. This kindled my interest and I’ve been writing code ever since. This obsession has led me to everything from creating & publishing my own apps, working in banks, to building & publishing a video game.
On the more unexpected side: I’ve written the code for a virtual drag strip using real cars, experimenting with the use of AI for coffee roasting, and also integrated weigh systems for large dump trucks at landfills.
As the tech world continues to shift and change, I would like to offer a peak under the hood of my experience with these technologies and my personal philosophies about them. I’m hoping to share ideas & connect with new people. Who knows, maybe I’ll get some crazy ideas about what to create next!
This isn’t just for those with an interest in programming. If you are interested in hearing my perspective on things like the creative process, the value of curiosity, or the joys of trial and error, this newsletter is for you.
